Galvanized

About Galvanized

Galvanization is the process of either coating a HR or CR substrate with a layer of protective zinc to prevent rusting. This layer prevents corrosive substances from reacting with the iron and serves as a sacrificial anode. Essentially, if the material is scratched, it is still protected. Galvanizing has a long life expectancy in terms of being corrosive resistant product. Galvanized is most commonly used in a variety of applications such as: building equipment, heavy equipment & machinery, wall panels, heating equipment & HVAC, as well as a number of other applications.
